A day long college fair and conference will be held in Pleasantville, NY on October 5th, 2013 at Pace University’s Kessel Student Center from 9:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M. for parents and educators of students with learning disabilities and autism. This conference is hosted by the Pleasantville SEPTA, Yale Child Study Center, and Pace University School of Education.
Two speakers from CT, Dr. Fred Volkmar from the Yale University Child Study Center and Jane Thierfeld Brown from University of Connecticut School of Law’s Center for Students with Disabilities and Founder of the company “College Autism Spectrum” will be speaking at panel discussions. There will be educational experts from different fields at the conference including college support program representatives from Westchester County colleges.
