U.S. Department of Justice has settled a housing discrimination lawsuit for people with disabilities. Although it was settled in Texas, it has nation-wide implications to ensure that all newly constructed multi-family residences conform to the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act and/or the Fair Housing Amendments of 1988.
